Yuletide Beauty Wish List

Dear Beauty Santa,

(In case you’ve forgotten which one you are, you have the best-tressed beard, radiant skin, and a perfect pedicure.)

Firstly, I‘ve been VERY good this year. I’m the reigning ‘Family Member of the Week’ champion. Which is a title I’ve held for approximately 48 weeks this year, only losing out one week when my mother was in town. Which doesn’t count. She’s on a-whole-nother level to me, for example she found the ironing board we didn’t know we had… And used it.

Secondly, a quick apology for the lateness of my list. I have no clue how it got to December already, I’ve only just finished regifting 2013 Christmas presents… Also, let’s talk list communication method. This year, as usual, I’m sending my Beauty Wish List to you via hard and soft copy. However, postage to the Pole is getting pricey. Plus, I heard hot desking is going to be a Thing for next year… Shall we just agree on electronic copy for Yule 2015?

Enough chit chat, here’s my Yuletide Beauty Wish List, if you could please kindly collect and deliver that will make for a very Merry Christmas (for me and you. If you don’t deliver, I have your address and will be making a visit in person.):

First stop Clinique. Please pick up one Chubby Colour Set. There are 4 fab Chubby shades and at $42, it’s 100% value-tastic. It’s party season, ergo I’ll need a Party Lips & Nails Set – 2 Chubby’s and 2 Nails in perfect party pink and vamp berry hue ($45). Festive swanning about means my skin is going to need some love: please pick up a More Than Moisture Set, it’s only $60 (you might want to collect one for yourself while you’re there).

For a fragrant note under the bauble-laden tree: a DKNY MYNY Heart in the City Set ($85), plus a Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Home Candle ($85). S’il vous plait.

Make-up: go directly to Bobbi Brown, collect a Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick ($72), a Lip Gloss in Scarlett ($44) and a Lip Color in Sultry Red ($44). And look, you might as well throw in a Warm Eye Palette, it’s only $80.

Swing your sack past Mecca and grab a Mecca Cosmetica Happy Holidays Travel Set – essential for inflight beauty ($75). To fight festive season fatigue I’ll need decent deep sleep, add a This Works Deep Sleep In Progress pack to the pile. Since it’s only $19 make that two.

And of course all these gorgeous items will need a glam place to be stored, am assuming wi-fi is strong in the Pole? Hit net-a-porter.com for an Anya Hindmarch Beauty Case ($220).

Thanks x million Beauty Santa… And since I heard you’ve gone vegan, I’ll bypass the milk and cookies and leave a La Prairie cream next to the tree for you as a token of my appreciation.

Have a super cool Yule! xxx
